The 3rd annual waterfall.ph meetup was held on 1st April 2022. This is by far our favourite meetup across the different learning communities that examines the reasons why waterfalls are great.
From a celebration of traditional project management which dived into the history of Gantt charts since 1890s, COSMIC metrics, an imagination of designing the grand canyon today, waterfall diagrams and giving thanks to waterfalls, this year’s event continues to provide high educational value with folks who enjoy a dose of humor and learning about our rich history.

With over 20 months of planning since we first chat about about appreciation of waterfalls and 8 months from the request for a complete waterfall certificate since the first Waterfall.ph Meetup, we were happy to wait till the last possible moment to share about our learning roadmap covering the gamut of our waterfall gateway program {LWP, SWP, AWP, WDP, AFWP, AWEP, A7PWP, FSPW}.

1st April 2021 Update
Delays are now expected due to stakeholders demanding a complete rewrite of the syllabus. Our Gantt charts tell us this will take exactly 12 months to complete.
Dear organisers, I’m not able to get Corporate to sponsor this program for 2 reasons: 1) our execs disagree with the two x 12 months modules. They feel to granular and want the complete course delivered in one module. 2) the course fees of 2x$48,000. The execs feel a proper exec course is at least $150,000 including 2 weeks on campus in Paris, Cape Town and New York. Please help!

We didn’t ask for feedback but after thoughtless consideration, we like to share clarifications.
1) It’s a 1 module x 730day program not 2×24 months. Hope this convinces your execs. 2) the course fees is an upfront payment of 1x$600k USD as appropriate for a gateway to this waterfall experience. Here are some examples of waterfalls we will visit. We are catering for an exclusive group of 12.

I just ran it by the guys and they love it. This is exactly what we are looking for. We need it in 688 days and at 60% of the budget. Oh, and the guys feel it needs to include 2 days on this “design thinking”. Corporate has a really good feeling about this design thing. They believe it will be the next waterfall.
